The Research and Practice of Developing Scientific Innovation Capability for Science and Engineering Undergraduates-Based on Establishing Physical Practice Platforms
Developing undergraduate students' innovation consciousness and capability is critical to innovative talents reservation and scientific and technological innovation.The paper analyzes deficiency of traditional physics education mode in training the scientific innovation capability of the science and engineering undergraduates.Based on long-term teaching experiences,the practical teaching reform is proposed and implemented in physics education for science and engineering undergraduate students in University of Shanghai for Science and Technology.The established physical practice platforms include extracurricular physical innovative production,physical research practice program and undergraduate physics tournament.The related activities are completed on the physical practice platforms.The reform has effectively promoted the scientific innovation capability of undergraduates.The basic system of training innovative talents with characteristics of science and engineering is constructed.
