Abstract:Activity-led learning is a pedagogic approach in which the activity is the focus of the learning practice whereas the tutor only acts as a facilitator.Activity-led Learning requires a self-directed inquiry or research-like process in which the individual learner seeks relevant knowledge and resources,trying skillful practices,understanding the relevant activity domain to achieve appropriate learning outcomes.This paper analyzes the existing teaching situation of the course "Automotive Electronics and Simulation Testing" in University of Shanghai for Science and Technology,introduces the Activity-led Learning pedagogic approach,and presents how the approach is applied in the course.
