Based on the goal of teaching reform in majors of Materials Science and Engineering,we focus on the problems in teaching the course "Fundamentals of Materials Science" for undergraduate totally in English,aiming at promoting quality and profoundness of course construction.The original textbooks in English are picked reasonably and the teaching practices revolve around arousing students' creative thinking and improving their independent analysis in solving the engineering problems.
