      以《诺顿美国文学选读》为主要资料,察看在美国多元文化主义影响下近30年来美国文学选读对美国文学经典作家作品的不断重新认定,通过描绘这一权威美国文学读本对弱势群体文学的逐步关注,揭示了弱势群体文学在美国正在得到高度重视,并且对繁荣美国文学作出贡献。
英文摘要:
      The thesis uses the various editions of Norton Anthology of American Literature as the primary materials to observe the recanonization of major American literary writers in anthologies of American literature under the influence of American multiculturalism in the last 30 years. In the description of the increasing concern this authoritative anthology of American literature shows for the minority literatures, the thesis reveals that minority literatures are being paid greater attention in the United States and have made important contribution to the development of American literature.
