The story of the heroine Hua Mulan is known to all, however, in the novel The Woman Warrior, the writer, Maxine Hong Kingston (Tangtingting), presents the readers with a totally different image. The paper, integrating the feminist criticism, explores into the resonance and difference between Maxine Hong’s story and the Chinese traditional story, and aims at reinventing the feminist consciousness, offering a reference for women in demonstrating the self?value of life when they suffer great impact from many values.
