In the light of ideational metaphor in Systemic Functional Grammar, and taking traditional Chinese medical science English as its research corpus， this article discusses the types and functions of adjectivization in traditional Chinese medical science English. This study is supposed to be an important supplement to nominalization research， and helpful to the understanding and translation of traditional Chinese medical science English， so as to promote the development of traditional Chinese medicine.
