English Chinese address translation plays an important role in both language learning and cross cultural communication.Based on the contrastive analysis of English and Chinese address language,this paper puts forward the translation criteria of English and Chinese address,and expounds the corresponding translation strategies for addresses on different occasions with several examples.It argues that we can achieve good communication effect with clear understanding of English and Chinese address language characteristics and appropriate use of translation strategies on different occasions.
