This paper discussed the new ideas of promoting career counseling in colleges and universities, in the context of the increasingly severe employment situation for university graduates. By combining the professional teaching and career counseling, one can enrich the content of professional courses and make the professional teaching adapted better to social needs. And, the vocational traits and professional skills of the students can also be enhanced imperceptibly during these courses. It has been proved that the strategy discussed in this paper does play a certain role in promoting the students' employment.
