Based on the fact that the traditional college English teaching puts more emphasis on inputting knowledge while neglecting the fostering of the critical thinking ability of students,the present paper employs the critical thinking way to design an effective teaching procedure,analyze the relations and status of teachers,students and the teaching process in the whole system of teaching,so as to improve the current situation,the lower attendance of students and the inefficiency of English teaching.By means of the effective teaching process design,the teachers,as the subject,expect to promote the active feedback of their students driven by subjects,realize the effective information interaction between the subjects and objects,and ultimately improve the quality of classroom teaching with the help of new method and evaluation mechanism.
