The Globalization era needs talents with global vision and responsibility, which requires to strengthen the international understanding education in primary and middle school education.The present article investigates the status of the international understanding education of middle school students in Yangpu District, summarizing the existing problems in the international understanding education.We propose some strategies including strengthening the traditional culture education, transforming international understanding education into conventional education, developing the schoolbased curriculum and fully developing the curriculum system.
