The Linguistic-level Compensation in E-C Translation of Informative Texts is one aspect that has rarely been specifically dwelt on among translation research.In this paper it is proposed that E-C Translation of Informative Texts requires compensation in terms of lexis,syntax and discourse,so as to ensure target text readers' correct understanding and similar responses between source text readers and target text readers.
