Internet and SMS(short message service) communication caused a profound change in the way college students interact with each other,which has both positive effect and negative effect upon students personality development.Universities should adopt appropriate approaches to guide students by strengthening management of network and take initives in text messages.Paying attention to campus network construction,improving the quality of moral education,strengthening mental health education,increasing self-control in virtual communication,enhancing campus culture to encourage students so that they could have healthy and popular personalities.
