Vocational skills competition creates conditions for discovering and selecting highly skilled personnel,and plays an important promoting and guiding role in improving the quality of personnel training by higher vocational colleges.Shanghai Publishing and Printing College(SPPC)has formed a distinct characteristics competition training mode by participating in the national printing industry vocational skills competition.This paper summarizes and analyzes this model,then gives some reform proposals on how to improve vocational skills competition mode by vocational colleges.
