Based on a study conducted in College of Foreign Languages of Hainan University,a study of teaching team construction for the course Comprehensive English,this paper aims to explore the construction mode,inner concepts of teaching team from the perspective of innovation and emphasize the significance of practicality in teaching team construction.Four kinds of innovations have been achieved in the terms of faculty development,class teaching,practical training and resource construction.Students' TEM4 scores in the past three years have been recorded and calculated to analyze the effectiveness of the reform.The result indicates that there was a significant difference in their TEM4 scores(P <0.05).Meanwhile,team members also have significant findings in their research on the practice of reform.
