In this paper,by means of comparative analysis and literature research,the author makes a comparison between Chinese and Western cultures,religions and other factors.The study reveals differences between Chinese and western humanistic sports view and the factors which influence each other.Western sports view is influenced by humanism of the Renaissance,it is people-centered,respects values of individual,and highlights humn as subject;where as China sports culture in the long-term is influenced by Confucian humanism,emphasizes the artistic culture,pays attention to the characteristics of art.But with the "Western learning" tide,Chinese humanistic sports view gradually changed and formed its own unique view of sports value.The comparison of Chinese and western sports concepts will provide a philosophical and cultural vision of research on Chinese sports development.
