After the Meiji Restoration, modern Japanese women began to dim the self awakening with the inflow of western liberalism.Although their struggle is very hard in the context of "the family system" and "nationalism", they finally emerged onto the stage of history as a self-speaking gender group.This paper takes the modern Japanese women's gender struggle for incision, combs the change of the modern feminist movement in Japan, introduced the feminist movement in Japan and its important historical value and realistic significance.
