Cultivating Undergraduate Student's Creativity by Sharing Scientific Research Experiences of Academic Staff-With Electrospinning as an Example to Illustrate How to Nurture Teaching from Scienfific Researches
It is expected that research-led teaching can effectively encourage undergraduate students to self-educate, learn actively and improve creativity. In the paper, five different ways for enhancing research-led teaching are proposed with electrospinning as an exemple of research technique. This approach permits 1) setting up more interactive experimental classes in which students can share their teachers' experiences in scientific research;2) implementing a unified curriculum through the cooperation of group teachers;3) encouraging the students to enter into their professors' laboratories;4) elucidate the students' interests and share with them the requisite experience;and 5) ensuring that the teaching staff keep pace with the advanced techniques and strive to expand their range of research experiences.
