All the universities have their own newspapers and journals, so does University of Shanghai, one of the sources of University of Shanghai for Science and Technology. Introducing the overall picture of the newspapers and journals published in University of Shanghai, this paper analyses their principal characteristics, bibliography values from the perspective of publisher, such as university, college, department, social experiment base, students, league, and it discovers that the publication history of University of Shanghai is closely linked to the historical destiny and development path of the University, and that the publications not only play a part of important documents in studying the students' campus cultural life and the academic history of the teachers and students, but also have a spiritual value for modern students.
