Because of the different backgrounds of higher education in China and foreign countries,the curriculum design may be different even for the same major in different programs.It's important to study how to optimize the curriculum of Chinese-foreign cooperative programs given the situations of both sides.With the example of Sino-German cooperative program,the major problems of curriculum design for Optoelectronic Engineering major are analyzed,and the solutions are discussed.It is presented that the curriculum can be optimized by setting a clear goal of the program,integrating the advantages of both sides,modularizing curriculum,and proportioning the language courses rationally.
