There exists an opposite relationship between the critique of technology and the reflection of technology. The former focuses on the social and ethical aspects of technology;the latter is about the nature and meaning of technology. The same relationship also lies between technology and human being. To acquire this reflection, we start with Chinese traditional thoughts rather than western thoughts. Mind(心)and Nature(性), the grounding of human being, had been attacked by modern technology. We can grasp changes and understand the nature of technology through two traditional contexts, that is, ‘mind-thing’ and ‘thing-principle’.
