Abstract:The design of planar linkage mechanism is an important part of mechanical principle experiments, which determines the dynamic performance and structures of mechanical systems. The paper illustrates the necessity and importance of the experimental teaching reform of the creatively combinated planar mechanism based on virtual simulation technology. A virtual experiment platform is developed for creative designing the combinated planar mechanism. This virtual experiment platform consists spare parts module and motion simulation module. It can meet the needs of different experimental teaching, which improves the experimental teaching method and enhances the efficiency of experimental teaching. It's an effective way for the cultivation of students' innovative ability.
