University students'social anxiety is one of the major concerns in the ideological and political education.At present,though only a small-scale research has been done so far on the university students'social anxiety,a number of significant research fingdings had been obtained.On the basis of a systematic analysis of the existing researches,suggestions for future researches on Chinese university students'social anxiety are prospected in terms of the theoretical basis,measurement instruments,research content,research methods and perspectives,so as to promote further studies on university students'social anxiety.
