Abstract:As an important channel of China's international publicity,international news reporting plays a vital role in enhancing China's global image as well as its influence in international discourse.International News Reporting tells China stories and spread Chinese voice worldwidely.From a narrative perspective and with Global Times as a case study,this article analyzes international News Reports' narrative strategies of temporal and special framing,selective appropriation of textual material,framing by labeling,and repositioning of participants in a bid toexplore trans-editing strategies to improve China's global communication competence throughits international news reports.
