Abstract:Innovative practices of Material calculation and simulation is a pioneering course for undergraduate majors in material sciences.It is an attempt to combine the basic principles of materials with the needs of innovation and entrepreneurship teaching.However,some problems often occur in students' learning this course,such as lack of interest,poor problem-solving skills,and so on.Therefore,a teaching reform is initiated,focusing on course characteristics,the latest developments in both the discipline and the learning processes.Enthusiasm of students is stimulated by introducing foreign examples and the practical experiences.Significant teaching effects are produced in this course.
