Sociology is an empirical and comprehensive discipline of the social sciences.In its teaching course,research can play a very important role in improving the teaching effect.The author promotes research teaching in the course of sociology by three main ways:using historical materials of the Department of Sociology at University of Shanghai,implementing some social investigation projects,and conducting sociological thinking experiments.The practice and exploration I have achieved have initial effects.
