To explore the influence mechanism of supervisor quality on the academic level of graduates,this study builds a mediating model that shows the mediating effects of academic perception between the supervisor quality and the graduates academic level.By means of samples of graduates from different universities and different specialized fields,we test the model by applying the hierarchical regression,correlation analysis and other statistical methods.Results of the analyses suggest that the supervisor's instructing ability has a significant positive influence on academic cognition of graduate students,while it is not significant on academic motivation.The academic level of the supervisors has a positive impact on the two dimensions of academic perception of graduate students.The effect of supervisor's charisma on the academic motivation of graduate students is significant,but it is not significant on the academic cognition of graduate students.The mediating role of academic perception between the academic level of supervisor and the academic level of graduate students have been proved.
