As globalization and cross-cultural communication continue to develop,linguistic landscape has become a topic heatedly discussed in the fields of sociolinguistics,applied linguistics and landscape semiotics.However,some obvious limitations exist in the study of linguistic landscape,such as more attention paid to statistical analysis than to profound exploration,being unsystematic in theoretical system,and unspecific in analytical perspectives.This paper hereby makes an exploration of the multi-dimensional analytical model by means of literature research,review and critical analysis,in order to enrich the study of linguistic landscape from diversified perspectives,pushing forward the research from informative level to symbolic level,as well as exploring a new route in revealing the underlying messages and social meanings hidden behind linguistic landscape.
