By exploring the way for Chinese calligraphy to go abroad,this paper makes an intensive study to develop the new area for rendering Chinese calligraphy into foreign languages.It implies that only if Chinese calligraphy is adapted for foreign use,can the art be carried forward.It is indeed feasible to write Western words with ink brush and translate Chinese calligraphy works into other languages to form a new artistic work and realize the globalization of calligraphy.By analyzing the structural features and writing tools of Chinese and Western languages,we have found a way to transform wonderful Chinese cultural carriers such as poems and famous sayings into foreign languages.
