The Directorate-General for Translation of EU is an influential language service institute around the world,and its Strategic Plan 2016-2020 is an important reference for China's language services industry's future development,especially for translation services.The concepts reflected in the plan is,in particular,worth thinking and study,which include attaching great importance to improvement of service quality and service level,to development and application of advanced technology,to career development and humanistic caring of staff,and to external communication and cooperation.
