Abstract:Shakespeare is a great dramatist and a highly creative poet in English literature.The poetic language and rhythmic lines in his 154 sonnets have attracted countless readers all over the world.With the unique conception and marvelous language,Sonnet 29 reflected the poet's dramatic emotional changes and attracted many Chinese translators.By comparing four different Chinese versions and appreciating the artistic charm of the sonnet in translators' great works,this paper aims at the translation which can satisfy the aesthetics of contemporary Chinese readers and provide references for the incoming better translations.
