Abstract:At the Report of the 19th CPC National Congress,Xi Jinping pointed out precisely the new historical orientation of China's development.However,the world has changed dramatically.The new situation needs all-round communication and transmission.Colleges and universities are the important institution of theoretical education,the course of "Situation and Policy" should undertake the duty to explain political theories in the new era.However,the existing problems in teaching devalue its effect.Through exploring practices and teaching mode reform in University of Shanghai for Science and Technology,we deconstruct the advantages of "Situation and Policy" course in different dimensions so as to explain and transmit the connotation of Xi Jinping's Thought on Socialism with Chinese Characteristics for a New Era more accurately.
