Abstract:Wuxia fiction is a key component of Chinese literature,in which Jin Yong's works,with their significant expressions of history,literature and narration,are listed in the first rank.Translating and introducing Wuxia fictions is an important channel to popularize the excellent culture of Chinese nation.From the perspective of narrative theory,a study is made on the English version of the Legends of the Condor Heroes.This paper introduces and analyses different narrative perspectives of the translator in her translation,specifically the names of chapters and characters,which differentiate the translated version from the original one.Meanwhile,the impact of the added introduction,prologue,appendices and advertisement on the cover,especially the information they contain,is also evaluated.
