Since vocabulary teaching is crucial for FL teaching,the paper focuses on its current problems and the development of a systematic FL vocabulary teaching mode with computer technologies.The mode aims at promoting the efficiency of vocabulary teaching and learning.In the mode,a series of newly-designed vocabulary learning processes are integrated into three essential teaching phases.Besides,computer technologies are utilized to optimize the mode.Teachers could take full advantages of those technologies to provide students with diversified resources and help them to employ different vocabulary learning strategies.It is expected that students’ interests could be increased and teachers’ teaching qualities could be improved.
