Abstract:A corpus-based autonomous learning model for academic abstract writing is established based on theoretical and empirical studies, which enables students to conduct the autonomous writing training of “reading, imitation and modification”.Students were required to write an abstract for a complete paper during the nine-week teaching experiment, and to self-modify the draft wich reference to the corpora before submitting the final version.Wordsmith Tools 7.0 and SPSS 25.0 are used to extract and analyze the experimental data to explore whether this model could significantly reduce the occurrence of genre and language misconduct in students' writing.Furthermore, the roles and functions of different participants in this model are discussed with proposalls for teaching and learning.
