Shanghai Dancing is a post-modernist novel written by Brian Castro,the famous Chinese Australian writer.The novel has gained wide recognition from literary critics for its characteristics of broken and complicated narrative lines and the fluid and uncertain characterization.From the perspective of deconstruction,this paper interprets the post-modern fiction features in Shanghai Dance from three aspects:heterogeneity,line image and repetition of text.
