By means of statistical analysis of the circulation data of the University of Shanghai for Science and Technology in 2009-2018,as well as the collection of resources,readers,borrowing and borrowing statistics,this paper explores the reasons for the reduced utilization of collection resources,and proposes comprehensive optimization of borrowing conditions.It is suggested to improve the borrowing experience,innovate procurement methods based on the needs of readers,normalize reading promotion activities,and use new media to innovate readers' communication models for the reference of university libraries to improve the utilization of collection resources.
