The National Counselor of the Year is the representative role image of excellent college counselors.Taking 112 National College Counselors of the Year as an example,the study refers to McClelland's "Iceberg Model" and finds that the professional connotation of excellent counselors includes five aspects:professional knowledge,skill,motivation,self-concept,characteristics and motivation.In order to promote the professional development of the counselors,we should pay more attention to the selection and recruitment system,training system and assessment system of college counselors,promoting their professional development.
