To actively respond to the new round of scientific and technological revolution and industrial change,the Ministry of Education has issued many initiatives on "New Engineering Disciplines" since 2017.Under the background of "New Engineering Disciplines",it is of great significance to quantitatively analyze the current situation of domestic engineering education research in recent ten years.In this paper,a bibliometric research is carried out on the literatures related to engineering education and collected by Chinese Social Sciences Citation Index (CSSCI).Based on the quantitative analysis of the annual volume of documents,author cooperation network,cited reference network,cited journal network and keyword co-occurrence network,this paper discusses the current situation of engineering education research in China.The results show that the research scale of domestic engineering education does not match the current scale of engineering education.The homogeneity of related research increases gradually,which implies an information exchange barrier between domestic and international journals.Finally,some suggestions are given for development.
