Abstract:This paper reviews the integration paths and new directions of translation, technology and humanities which were explored at the High-Level Forum on Translation, Technology and Humanities. Firstly, integration can be realized by mutual conceptual enlightenment, cross-borrowing of methods and interdisciplinary construction. Secondly, the humanities should give full play to theoretical knowledge and foreign language talents in response to the opportunities and challenges brought by machine translation. Thirdly, future training of translators should not only meet the new requirements of high-tech revolution, but also adhere to the essence of the discipline and adjust its educational objectives and programs to meet the national needs of talents.
