Abstract:The energy and power numerical calculation software ABAQUS was selected to model the basketball shooting process under different conditions, simulate the actual trajectory of the shooting process, discover the movement rule of basketball and analyze the method to improve the shooting percentage. The research obtained best shooting angle and most effortless shooting angle respectively, and it also found that the basketball shooting distance and shooting height have an exponential function expressed in the scoring curve and mathematical formula. This method can adjust the parameters to the actual situation of the athletes, and get the shooting trajectory of different athletes quickly, providing quantifiable references for coaching and a visual data for basketball athletes to improve their shooting percentages.
