With the expansion of colleges and universities, the scale of fixed assets has also increased. Although information technology has been applied to assets management in many colleges and universities the management cannot meet the growing demand for assets management. This article introduces "Internet Plus" into university assets management in response to the problems of weak management awareness, low degree of integration, and lagging construction of shared platforms in the fixed assets information management of S University. "Internet Plus" aims to improve standardization, flow of information sharing and management efficiency, and the newly-built information management system betters the entire life cycle of fixed assets in S University. Further optimization connects with financial system, establishes a large-scale equipment sharing platform, developes assets management mobile APPs, and builds a big data analysis system so as to optimize allocation of resources, enhancing efficiency and assets management.
