Abstract:With a view to meeting the strict requirements on interpreting teaching in the current new era of China, it is integral to explore teaching C-E interpreting of political neologisms from the perspective of language philosophy. Based on Searle’s Network-Background Theory and features of Chinese political neologisms, cultivating students’ relevant abilities are investigated. To be specific, these capabilities include appropriate practice of long-term and pre-interpreting preparation, consistency when producing target language, and language accuracy. Meantime, actual concrete teaching steps are proposed. It is of great significance to teaching practice of C-E interpreting of discourse with political neologisms.
