In order to enhance college counselors’ sense of professional identity, help them out of the dilemma of vague cognition of career orientation and future development, this paper explores ways to better realize their professional development. It is necessary to be strict with candidates of counselors, optimize the professional training mode, pay attention to their growth in a long-term, delineate their work, and enhance their professional identity. Meanwhile, counselors should also improve their professional ability and knowledge to better devote themselves to the work of moral education. The research puts forward these strategies for the various stages of the career development of counselors so as to provide references for their professional development.
