Under the background of economic globalization, it is particularly important to cultivate innovative talents with international competitiveness in the field of optoelectronic information. University of Shanghai for Science and Technology (USST) has continuously improved training quality of international optoelectronic talents. Enhancing the radiation effect of teachers’ mutual visits and online courses, USST has created a two-way joint program of double degrees, integrated the industrial needs of German industry 4.0, and set up a flexible mechanism for discontinuing cooperative education. Based on cases of the exchange and cooperation with German universities in recent years , the implementation of international project certification, expanding international cooperation management, and promoting international exchanges between teachers and students, the authors explore the establishment of a new mode of international innovative successive Bachelor-Master-Doctor talents that meet the actual needs of China.
