Abstract:Micro-course, the symbiotic product of new technology and education reform in the age of educational information, has attracted some attention in the field of education and produced a great impact on the teaching activities of teachers. However, the rapid development of micro-courses in universities has not produced a substantial boost to the quality of teaching and talent training. There have occurred some deficiencies such as no remarkable practical results, lack of theoretical support system, insufficient in-depth thinking of the value system, and insufficient attention to the students’ learning effectiveness. Therefore, it is necessary to reflect on the teaching value of micro-courses under the concept of Outcome-Based Education (OBE), to emphasize goal orientation, value orientation, teaching design and effect evaluation of micro-courses in colleges and universities. In fact, we should adhere to the “learning-oriented” goal and “learner center” practice, to the principle of reverse design for students to display their achievements , to the principle of diversification and transferability evaluation, thus enhancing the comprehensive ability of students and successful development of students as an orientation.
