Abstract:Ideological and political education integrated with course learning is a comprehensive educational concept consistent with the constructivism learning theory. This paper introduces the background of ideological and political education and research on its integration in Japanese teaching. The current research focuses on Japanese-Chinese translation courses, and discusses the following three approaches under the constructivism learning theory. It is hypothesized that the teaching materials need updating with the times, flexible teaching mode should be adopted to build new teaching situations and the evaluation mechanism is also to be improved to enhance teaching and learning effects. Questionnaires were designed to investigate students’ attention to the contents, methods and effect of ideological and political education in course learning, in order to promote the ideological and political education in courses of Japanese majors in colleges and universities.
