Aesthetic education plays an important role in the education system of Chinese universities of science and engineering. It focuses on the future trend of talent training and is based on the overall development of talents, and it is the key to promote moral education and cultivate students’ moral integrity through aesthetic education. The “Big Aesthetic Education Concept” sheds a new light on research of aesthetic education in contemporary science and engineering universities. Through a comprehensive analysis of the current situation and serious problems in aesthetic education, this paper discusses the multi-dimensional value implication and practical significance of the “Big Aesthetic Education Concept” in terms of organic integrity, talent development and concept renewal. Focusing on the concept, channel, measure and mechanism of the “Big Aesthetic Education Concept”, this paper probes deeply into its realization and implementation strategies in contemporary Chinese universities of science and engineering based on in-depth research on implementation of this new aesthetic education concept.
