Educating people with aesthetics is important to promote the all-round development of talents and plays an irreplaceable role in the process of talent cultivation in colleges and universities. However, aesthetic education has not received adequate attention in science and engineering colleges for a long time. After analyzing the existing problems in aesthetic education, we put forward certain suggestions about approaches of aesthetic education in science and engineering colleges, including the curriculum system, teaching mode, educational resources, campus environment and digital aesthetic education.
