Based on the teaching practice of incorporating red culture into daily aesthetic education process in universities, we propose a universal aesthetic teaching method which involves organic integration of red cultural elements into the overall curriculum system, and incorporates a large number of typical cases of red cultural artistic creation into the teaching process. Meanwhile, the mechanism of “immersive” red culture in aesthetic education is explored in the context of digital information flooding among students. Furthermore, the achievements of five-years immersive aesthetic education of red culture in USST have proven the effective teaching and research methods which aims to create a comprehensive aesthetic education system of “curriculum education + artistic immersion + red culture + innovative potential activation” for aesthetic education in universities.
