Abstract:Taking the teaching practice of the scientific research project course “Intangible Cultural Heritage Animation” as an example, the research studies “Aesthetic Education with Intangible Cultural Heritage”, focusing on the characteristics of the animation majors and the method of integrating the Shanghai Intangible Cultural Heritage Protection Project “Bird Whistle” into the teaching and of disseminating through popular science animation design. In the project, the teaching content of popular science animation with the theme of “bird whistle” inheritance has been designed, and a research group of “intangible cultural heritage animation” creation has been established. Students learned the basic theory of intangible cultural heritage, visited the inheritors of “Bird Whistle”, and conducted field research in Chongming Dongtan Wetland. The past and present, tradition and modernity,skills and science of “Bird Whistle” have been innovatively disseminated through students’ popular science animation design. Students’ art creation work has innovated the aesthetic education methods and forms and enriched the content of “intangible cultural heritage into the campus” of science and engineering universities.
